Great Britain didnīt give South Africa any chance
Alexander Birch didnīt allow a goal against and Great Britain outshot South Africa in their last game of the round robin. John Dolanīs hattrick helped the team from the British Isles win their group. Great Britain beat South Africa 7-0.

Game report
Great Britain got South Africa under the pressure right from the beginning but Jack Clarksonīs shot only found the post. Team from the African continent didnīt make many scoring chances - and all of the few were stopped but Birch, catching in a great form.
Patiently playing Great Britain finally managed to overcome the other magnificant goalie at the end of the first period. Berger allowed a goal against his team 40 seconds before the first horn. And John Dolan started his shooting performance.
Both in 15th and 18th minute, Dolan had enough time to put the puck where he wanted to. And completed his hattrick. "I am happy, of course. A hat-trick is not bad, is it?" smiled the happy Dolan. On the other side of the rink, Birch had his goal crease set properly, Cameron Birell only hit the post.
Great Britainīs exhibiton went on with Jack Clarkson and Karl Namataliīs goals in the third period - team from the British Isles was leading by five goals. "We were able to hold the Brits defensively quite long, but they are faster and later just started banging them in," said South Africa goalkeeper David Berger.
Miracoulous saves of Birch against Jevons and Berger agains Finney didnīt allow any more goals before the end of the the third quater.
Although Britain didnīt focus on the last part like it did before, South Africa couldnīt have find a way to beat Birch. And had two more goals scored against them. Within one minute Richard Walsh and Daniel Clarkson set the score 7-0.

Andrew Sillitoe (Team Great Britain coach): I am really pleased with our teamīs performance. We played against a tough opponent, but I am happy with the way our team dealt with them and played against them. Our goal is to win promotion to the top division.
