Argentina beats New Zealand, but both teams are relagated
Sadness and tears on one side, short-lived celebration on the other. New Zealand was leading by three goals in the 17th minute but lost 5-6 in overtime. Hernan Vigo Laborda scored the game winner in the third minute of overtime and helped keep Argentinian hopes of staying in Division I alive, but only for a couple of hours. New Zealand will have to play qualification next year.

Game report
Nobody expected such a fabulous entering of the game. Posts hit on both sides and New Zealand easily leading by three goals. Daniel Garrowjarvis assisted at the first one and scored the second.
Before Argentina found out, what was going on, Lewis Taiapaskinnon scored another one - only twelve seconds later. But Argentina didn´t want to lie down. Hernan Insua Shanly´s individual action helped South Americans to turn the game over.
Unexpectedly, both teams changed goalies for the second half, probably to give their teammates motivation. Argentinian Marcolongo had only one goal scored against him in the third period.
Goalie substitution didn´t help New Zealand though. Harvey didn´t show a lot of confidence and had three goals scored against him within seven minutes.
Althoug James Talapaiskinnon´s second goal of the game put New Zealand ahead, Facundo Vadra managed to tie the game at five and Hernan Vigo Labodra scored the game winner in the third minute of overtime.

Game reactions
Lewis Taiapa (captain of New Zealand): We should have played as a team. That´s the main reason of our loss. But I am satisfied both with our perfomance at the tournament and the organisation. We liked it here in PArdubice. Unfortunatelly, we couldn´t have brought all of our best players because we didn´t have enough money. We had a good team though and I am proud of the players. But we lost to many games.
Roberto Villagra (coach of Argentina): I am definitely satisfied. Game to game, we had improved. We won one game against New Zealand, which shows our strength.
